The LM540 stands for security in a dual sense: Installed inside a robust, impact-resistant housing including a 55 mm flush-mounted socket, the LM540 offers the greatest security against vandalism and, when combined with the MTZ Business Solutions software developed by Miditec, is a sophisticated and secure access control solution.

The LM530 is a fingerprint reader for biometric access, offering dual authentication by card and fingerprint. The user’s fingerprints (templates) are stored on the non-contact card and compared with the current finger impression at the time of scanning. When secured by an additional PIN code, the fingerprint system can also be used to arm or disarm an alarm or hazard detection system.

The LM270 reader draws the card inside and, if valid, unlocks the door and returns the card. If the visitor’s card has expired, for example, then it will be automatically retained and the visitor de-registered in the visitor management (exception – this reader requires an additional power adapter).
